This is a great tool, there are so many of our players that would want to use this tool to better their game. We don't have any handicaping software at our course, our regular players could really take advantage of this tool. ( Mount Douglas offers the YourGolfStats score cards at the front desk ).

When I first heard about YourGolfstats.com I was a little skeptical, I always keep my stats in my head. After talking with the guys at yourgolfstats about the program and how it works I decided to give it a try. It has been such a great tool for understanding my game down to each round and what was off. I can monitor how my game is progressing and watch for trouble areas. I am planning on going back to an instructor this year and with a yourgolfstats stats card in my hand I can get the most out of my lessons.

When I began golfing I spent too much time, as all golfers do, analyzing my swing, the courses, equipment, training aids everything guaranteed to lower my score, make the ball travel further. If I bought every piece of advertised equipment, then I would be a pro in no time, right? Well, that's just not the case in this great game. My natural tendency to analyze everything kicked in and I began tracking my game. I tracked stats such as fairways hit, greens in regulation, putting average, scoring trends, a make shift handicap.

I found was that their were specific aspects of the game that I needed to practice. I spent many evenings at the driving range hitting range balls as far as I could only to go out on the course and still score over 100. After inputting a few of my score cards into a makeshift stats calculator, I found that my putting average was over 2 putts/hole, I rarely got to the green in regulation and routinely made double bogeys. So off I went to try and reach "bogey golf". I practiced my putting to no end and lowered the average putt to below 2. Guess what? My scores went down by approx 5 strokes/round. But I was still hovering around the 100 mark. Back to the stats I went. I was still not hitting the greens in regulation, time to practice the long irons and fairway wood.

To make a long story short, I went from a 38 Handicap to a 20 handicap in 6 months by simply KNOWING THE SCORE. No gimmicky training aids, no special balls. When I went to the driving range I knew exactly what I needed to practicean when I chose a course to play I was able to choose courses that let me practice my weak areas.

I guarantee you one thing by using this product, you will learn more about your game and become a better golfer.
